About James
James M Larmer was born in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and has lived and worked in Sydney, Brussels, London, Boston, New York and Los Angeles. He has had an extensive career in international affairs, business and entertainment in the United States, Great Britain, Europe and Australasia. Trained as an economist and commercial lawyer at the University of Sydney James worked and traveled extensively for a UN affiliated youth organization, AIESEC, before working in law and strategy consulting. He completed his Masters of International Affairs at Columbia University – alma mater of numerous global figures including Secretaries of State Madeline Albright and Condoleezza Rice.
In addition to his business acumen, James has worked both in front and behind the camera and stage for the past 10 years. His remarkable “second” career has spanned from Off Broadway to Tim Robbins renowned company The Actors Gang. On screen he has starred with Jennifer Garner in the final season of Alias as well as played leading man on several films including the soon to be released Chasing Tchaikovsky
